Manufactured by - Rifle modified to fire .22 ammunition. Weighs 8 lbs. 12 oz. No magazine. Flash suppressor taped to forearm.

Markings:
Receiver: FABRIQUE NATIONALE D'ARMES DE GUERRE-HERSTAL. BELGIUM. RIFLE CALIBER .22 T48 F.N.
Stock: A/18 in yellow paint.

Weapon transferred to the Museum on 5 January 1965. At that time weapon was appraised at $250.00.

Notes: "As a consequence of Gustafson's work, caliber .22 Carbines were included in the SALVO I field trial and numerous other comparative trials of the period.
