Notes: The Remington Model 11 was a favorite of Bonnie & Clyde.

"Early in WWII, the U.S. Navy and U.S. Army realized an effective and economical way to teach aerial gunners 'wing shooting' was to train them to shoot skeet. Remington again came to the forefront by supplying 59,961 Model 11 autoloading shotguns ($36.34 EACH), and 8,992 Model 31 pump-action shotguns ($32.34 each), as well as 6,700 mechanical target throwers and more than 204,000,000 clay targets.
With nearly 9,000 Model 31 shotguns being supplied, I would consider them scarce and should be of interest to collectors of WWII firearms, as well as to Remington collectors…. The R.L.B. cartouche is the inspectors mark for Roy L. Bolin, circa 1941-42. You will find his inspector's mark on not only the Remington Model 31, but the Ithaca M37 and the Remington M1903." - Remington Society of American Journal, 1st Quarter, 2006.
